“Within 10 mins of being at this resort hotel my significant other said "Check and see if we can stay an additional night." As much as we love this place, we hope it stays off the radar! It's the perfect hidden gem. They gave us early check-in and late check- out which felt very VIP. Seems like most places lately are rushing you out the door. I also arranged ahead of time some accommodations to start off our celebrations for the night we stayed and the staff nailed it. We felt immediately like family, especially considering I was greeted with a hug! We typically stay at the Caribbean resort & Chesapeake Beach Resort (both great places - but expensive), but this will be our new go-to place when visiting Islamorada. The staff is the cherry on top of the property. We did not have to worry about kids peeing up the pool and running around unsupervised, it was quiet, everyone was friendly, and it never felt crowded no matter where you went. It was perfect. Never felt bothersome with the questions we had. Unfortunately, the bar was not open due to changing ownership - but they were willing to give compensation for that (Thank you for the champagne, Sam <3) Hopefully it will be up and running when we come back. We also didn't end up having the best weather (60's), but the property is so beautiful we didn't dare let that stop us. With that being said we did not take advantage of our balcony (due to weather), but better believe I toughed it out to take in the gorgeous view with a mimosa in hand that next morning. The wind did make it hard to sleep because our door to our balcony kept squeaking but that's a simple fix. Only thing I can truly complain about is not being able to stay longer. Get use to our faces Casa Morada, you have some new regulars. Thank you for such a wonderful stay (Deanna wrote this using Christophers account) <3”
“Hotel properties: Stunning and Calm Room: Big, clean, comfy beds, quiet, stocked mini fridge, coffee, and tea (all for a price but it is there). We stayed on the Jungles room, it has a deck on the back which was really nice. Rooms need a bit updating but I think they are already working on it. Breakfast: Coffee, cereals, boiled eggs, toasts, bagels, fruits, juice, mini mufffins, tea. Big kudos to Adi who served us some amazing cappuccinos as well. Service: Excellent check in process. The grounds: Very calm and quiet Hotel. If you are looking for relaxation, this is the place. The little island on the back has a shaded boat house and the pool overlooking the west waters to enjoy the perfect sunset without having to leave the hotel. You can also have your own drinks by the pool are, there is no bar. Public restrooms by the pool are clean as well. Location: Many different food options less than a mile away, some are walking distance, groceries, pharmacies all very close. Overall we has a great stay, will be back.”
“What a fabulous trip Paul and I had to Casa Morada. This was our first time to the keys and it did not disappoint. Yes Islamorada is paradise and Casa Morada is simply a special spot to enjoy this paradise. This property is situated beautifully on the water and the grounds are lush and tropical and did I mention the sunsets - like no other - AMAZING!! But what we really enjoyed was their caring staff - upon arrival Sam welcomes guests that quickly become like family & Ruth & Addie greet you in the morning with delicious breakfast treats & the entire staff is top notch. So don't hesitate to add this to your travel plans and enjoy this as much as much as we did!!”
“Our stay at Casa Morada for our honeymoon was exceptional! The grounds are absolutely beautiful, serene, and perfect for sight seeing. It was very quiet and peaceful, which made it easy for my husband and I to relax and unwind. The property has a nice breakfast area with a view of the water, and it’s also walking distance to popular restaurants. There are bikes, paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling equipment available to use. We also enjoyed watching beautiful sunsets from the pool deck and a morning yoga class. Our room was very clean and spacious, with many windows. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and attentive. Our room was well-kept which made us feel right at home. The manager Samantha is so welcoming and accommodating, she truly went above and beyond for us during our stay! We can’t thank her enough for her kindness and hospitality. Casa Morada is truly a “hidden gem.” Thank you for an unforgettable experience and we can’t wait until next time!”
